About Me

I’ve been a nature enthusiast my whole life...
but became obsessed with gardening once I had my own yard. The more that I worked in my garden, the more I wanted to learn.  I took classes at UMass Amherst to earn a Horticulture Certificate to create a more solid (and science - based) foundation of knowledge. Combining my hands-on experience and schooling, I’ve learned what many of the best practices are for gardening. I’ve also learned that just because something is the “best practice”, doesn’t mean it’s what will work best in everyone’s garden or fit into everyone’s lifestyles. I’m here to make your garden work for you - no matter what your needs are.  Think of me as your biggest cheerleader. I truly believe everyone has a green thumb, let’s find yours!
